The Project Engineering Area (API-Uniovi) of the University of Oviedo, is a teaching and researching group formed by a group of professors who provide higher education in several university degrees at the University of Oviedo, Spain. If you need more information, please contact us:

Our group is formed by more than 30 people, divided in four units performing transversal applied research tasks, with an intensive focus on companies (both SMEs and large companies). The features of our research are:

 

  • Applied: we perform mainly applied research, solving real and specific problems
  • Complete: our taks cover from the inception to the project closure.
  • Multidisplinary: our group is formed by people from several fields, such us IT Engineering, Mining Engineering, Industrial (Mechanical, Electrical and Organizational) Engineering, Forest Engineering, Survey, Biology, ...

 

So... in other words,

 

"... We provide a global solution for a specific problem using the more suitable technologies "

 

During the last ten years, we have develop more than 200 projects/contracts, for more than 35 customers (SMEs, firms, public bodys, ...) and working with more than 75 partners.
